    After your visit, if ordered

Labs and imaging. Blood tests or imaging to rule out other causes. We’ll explain what each one is for, before and after.

  • Cognitive assessment

Common questions

How fast can I be seen? Typically within 2 weeks.
What happens after the visit? Your specialist reviews your history, assesses your concerns and gives you a concrete plan, not just “wait and see.” If more testing is recommended, we’ll walk you through each step.
Will this replace my doctor? No. We work alongside your current doctor and share results and recommendations with them, with your permission.
What do I need for a video visit? A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and internet. We’ll help you get set up before your visit. If you don’t have access to technology, or you have trouble seeing or hearing, let us know. We’ll make accommodations so you can still get care.
What if I don’t have insurance? We offer affordable self-pay rates. Our team can walk you through the options on your first call.
Can a family member join? Yes. Many people find it helpful to have someone they trust on the call.

BrainHealth GUIDE

Caring for someone with dementia?

Families on Traditional Medicare may qualify for a Care Navigator, caregiver training, a 24/7 support line and in-home respite care.

See if your family qualifies

GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) is a Medicare program run by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for people with dementia who have Traditional Medicare. Enrollment is voluntary, you may leave at any time, and it does not change your Medicare coverage or your doctors. Respite is available to patients with moderate or advanced dementia who have an unpaid caregiver, up to Medicare’s annual limit. The statements contained in this document are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of CMS. Eligibility requirements apply. Not all individuals qualify.
